Lewis Group continues to pedal community improvement

Well known for their involvement in the community, the Lewis Group recently donated a new police patrol bicycle with all necessary accessories to the Royersford Police Department.

Lewis Group President & CEO, Rick Lewis presented the special FUJI USA patrol bike to Royersford Police Chief Tom Nerlinger and Officer Joseph Oberholtzer at the Riverfront at Royersford.

"Borough Council and I are so grateful to have organizations like the Lewis Group in our borough,” commented mayor of Royersford Borough, Jenna Antoniewicz. “I heard from Rick Lewis yesterday who said he feels fortunate to work in such a great community. The feeling is absolutely mutual!”

The Lewis Group continues to redevelop the property along the riverfront on the Royersford side in Montgomery County and is currently spearheading the Save the Trestle project that will connect two communities, two counties and create a destination along the Schuylkill River Trail.

As the Borough of Royersford continues to redevelop along Main Street and the riverfront, the Lewis Group wanted to ensure the officers were equipped with the best resources to patrol these areas in support of the business community and trail users.

The mayor added, "Our Officers in the Police Department do so much to serve and protect our residents, businesses, and organizations; it is so meaningful that the Lewis Group would recognize and give back in this way.”

While the Schuylkill River Trail runs along the Schuylkill River on the Chester County side through Spring city, the river trail on the Montgomery County side is in progress part of the development the Lewis Group is undertaking at the Riverfront at Royersford.
